Happy August!

We hope your summer has been filled with time to relax, recharge, and make wonderful memories with family and friends. While we know no one wants summer to end too quickly, we can't help but feel excited as we begin preparing for another incredible school year at P.S. 207!

Whether you are returning to our school community or joining us for the very first time, we are thrilled to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year. We have been working all summer to prepare classrooms, plan engaging learning experiences, and ensure that every child feels welcomed, supported, and inspired from the very first day of school.

At P.S. 207, our vision of Growing Leaders of Today and Tomorrow guides everything we do. We believe that the strongest schools are built through partnership. When families, students, and staff work together with a shared purpose, amazing things happen. Every member of our community brings unique talents, experiences, and strengths that help make our school an extraordinary place to learn and grow.

This year, we are especially excited to welcome several new staff members to the P.S. 207 family. Their enthusiasm, expertise, and fresh perspectives will strengthen our school community, while our returning staff continue to build upon the traditions of excellence, innovation, and care that make P.S. 207 so special.

Throughout the year, you'll continue to see our R.O.C.K.S. S.T.A.R. values and Growth Mindset philosophy woven into everything we do. Together, we'll encourage our students to lead with Respect, Organization, Cooperation, Kindness, and Safety while becoming Successful, Thorough, Authentic, and Reflective learners who embrace challenges, celebrate growth, and support one another.

As always, communication between home and school is one of the keys to student success. We encourage you to visit our newly redesigned website regularly, follow along with school updates, and stay connected throughout the year. We look forward to partnering with you every step of the way.
