IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE INFO:
School begins at 8:00 a.m.
Students who are not in the building, on line with their class at 8:00 a.m. are marked late
🚨Please note: 8:01 is considered late. Chronically late students will be referred to our Attendance Team and will require follow-up with families
School ends at 2:20 p.m.
Gates open for dismissal at 2:15.p.m. Students who are not picked up by 2:20 p.m. are marked as late pick up and must be picked up via the Main Entrance

Lateness /Absences Reporting:
If your child is going to be absent please send a Dojo message to our Attendance Dojo Class (you will be sent an invite to add the Attendance Dojo class. Please be sure to add the Dojo Attendance class at the start of the year) Please include your child's name, class and reason for lateness or absence. Please include a picture of the doctor's note in your email of available

Pre-K: Family style breakfast in the classroom

K-5: Served in our cafe from 7:35am - 7:55 am

K-5: Served in our cafe from 10:45am-12:30pm
Students also have the option of bringing lunch from homw in in lieu of eating school lunch.

Afterschool
We are excited to welcome back Kids in the Game, our on-site, fee-based after-school program. Running Monday–Friday (in alignment with the school calendar), this program continues to offer a structured, fun, and enriching experience for our students.
Program Features:
Monthly themes and a wide range of engaging activities
Sports, fitness games, and creative movement
STEAM projects and dance
Homework help (if applicable)
Special events and family nights
What You Need to Know:
🗓️ August 21, 2024: A flyer with program hours and registration details will be shared via our website and Class Dojo.
📍 Registration is managed directly by Kids in the Game, not by PS 207.

Safety
Families will receive a notification one week in advance of any scheduled safety drills at P.S. 207. These drills are designed to prepare students for various emergency scenarios and will focus on the General Response Protocols (GRP).
We encourage you to review and discuss these protocols with your child prior to the drill. You can access the GRP Summary Guide provided by the NYC Department of Education here:
