At PS 207, we truly believe that TEAMWORK makes the DREAM WORK—and our parents are an essential part of that team! We deeply value the partnership, support, and commitment of our families. Together, we work to ensure that every student receives the highest quality education and the encouragement they need to thrive. With parents, staff, and students united, there’s no limit to what we can achieve!
Dear PS 207 Families,
Welcome to our new families, and welcome back to those returning! We are so grateful to have you as part of the PS 207 community.
At PS 207, we are committed to ensuring that every child experiences a successful, joyful, and enriching school year. We know that students thrive when school and families work together. Your partnership, involvement, and engagement are essential to your child’s academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
Throughout the school year, there are many opportunities to stay connected — including parent-teacher conferences, workshops, informational sessions, school-wide celebrations, and Parents’ Association events. These gatherings are designed to keep you informed, empowered, and engaged as partners in your child’s education.
We encourage you to participate in school events and Parents’ Association meetings. They are wonderful opportunities to build relationships, stay informed, and contribute to our vibrant PS 207 community. Together, we celebrate our students’ accomplishments and support their growth as learners and leaders.
As your child’s first and most important teacher, your insights and voice matter deeply. Please know that I am here to support you — whether you need information, resources, assistance, or help navigating any school-related matters.
Do not hesitate to stop by the main office, call, or email. We look forward to working together to help every child grow and succeed at PS 207.
Warmly,
Laura Polanco

As a public body, SLT meetings must adhere to New York's Open Meetings Law.
DOE Title I team" is best understood as the NYC Department of Education's Title I program structure, which includes a Citywide Title I Parent Advisory Council (PAC), District-level Parent Advisory Councils (DPACs), and school-level Title I Parent Advisory Councils (PACs). These parent-led committees, supported by the NYCDOE, are central to the federal Title I program, which provides funding for schools with high numbers of low-income families, ensuring parents are involved in decision-making, planning, and reviewing how Title I funds are used to improve student achievement.
