Dear P.S. 207 Families,

Happy Sweetheart Month! Our January Power of Our Words focus set a beautiful tone as we returned from break, reminding students that their words have the power to inspire, lead, and make a positive difference. Each January, we study the words and actions of great leaders and reflect on how thoughtful language can shape our world. Thank you for continuing to share and celebrate your children’s meaningful projects at home and at school.

As we move into February, we are proud of the tremendous academic and social growth our students have made. We are finalizing assessments and look forward to sharing this progress with you at Parent Teacher Conferences next month. Thank you to our dedicated staff and families for your continued partnership and support.

February—our beloved “Sweetheart Month”—focuses on spreading kindness and love. Each day, students will participate in a “Sweet Act,” and we’ll enjoy our theme song, Put a Little Love in Your Heart, during arrival and dismissal. We look forward to special celebrations including Sweetheart Day, Respect for All Week, and the 100th Day of School.

Our February Growth Mindset Mantra is: “A Goal Without a Plan is Just a Wish.” Together, let’s set meaningful goals that support our students’ continued success at school and at home.
