Dear PS 207 Families,
As we welcome March, we first want to reflect on what a wonderful February we shared together. From our joyful Sweetheart Day celebrations to the many moments of learning and connection throughout the month, our school community truly shined. It was beautiful to see our students celebrating kindness, friendship, and leadership in action.
March brings with it renewed energy and meaningful opportunities for growth. This month includes:
Parent-Teacher Conferences, where we strengthen the home–school partnership and celebrate student progress.
Our Read Across America Challenge and Dr. Seuss Week, fostering a love of reading and literacy across every grade.
Autism Awareness Month, as we continue to build understanding, empathy, and inclusivity within our community.
Our weekly Parent Relaxation & Wellness Sessions, designed to support and uplift our families.
Our weekly Pre-K Parent Visits, helping our youngest learners and families feel connected and supported.
Instructionally, we continue to strengthen Tier 1 classroom experiences while ensuring our MTSS structures provide targeted support for every student. March is a critical time for goal-setting, progress monitoring, and maintaining strong attendance as we approach spring assessments.
PS 207 thrives because of the powerful partnership between families and staff. Your involvement, encouragement at home, and presence at school events make a tremendous difference in your child’s success.
Together, we continue growing leaders — academically, socially, and emotionally — every day at PS 207.
With appreciation,
Tara OBrien
